Beerdigung

I went to my first German funeral today. It was for Markus's grandma. I thought it was nice how they sung a song at the graveside and then everyone threw flowers onto the coffin after it was lowered into the ground. (Which Americans do in films, anyway.) The cemetery is really beautiful. They have flowers and bushes growing above the whole section of round with standing gravestones. I will have to go back and take pictures. It made me think of my own grandma's funeral. I sure love her and I'm glad I'll be able to see her again.
