Garbage

Did you know there's a big patch of garbage in the middle of the Pacific Ocean? It makes me think of how I always wondered about all the space garbage floating around. I used to think it was a really good idea to shoot all of our garbage to the sun to be burned, but then I realized two things.

First, wouldn't the earth lose tons of mass after a while? This could have adverse effects.

Secondly, burning garbage with something that reaches us in eight minutes could very well also have horrible effects.
