Michael and I went to Québec and Montréal. We especially loved the feel of the Old Town in Québec; I kept exclaiming that it felt like we were in Europe.
Our hotel was so hip and modern (we were impressed by the door that could swing to close the bathroom or swing to close the toilet area, for example), and there were really great views from our window.
Michael thought it would have been cool to book the luxurious Fairmont (the castle-looking hotel on the hill), but I liked being able to look at it from where we stayed.
Breakfast wasn't included, so we enjoyed the good, Nutella-in-a-glass-jar that we found with some bread each morning. We tried poutine (french fries with gravy and cheese curds on top) and I think we both liked it.
I did some good clothes shopping in Montréal, at both local places and Old Navy. :D
We found ourselves saying, "Oui" to each other a lot after that trip.
