I had Epstein Barr. I had mono. I don't know how recently that means. Some time. But that's nothing unusual. 98% of 40-year-olds have contracted the virus that stays with them the rest of their lives.
So, I got sent to an ear-nose-throat doctor, who prescribed some pills and sent me to a radiologist for a CT scan.
