Sunday Wrap-up

Please, people, leave comments when you read. I would really rejoice.

Stacy Young's photography is one of my favorites. If I ever get married, I'm calling her. Let's just hope wherever I am then, she'll want to fly there without me having to pay for the flight. Ha ha. I guess I could offer her free accommodations and a city tour. Anyway, she's in a contest.
Vote for her by rating her work here.

I'm calling the allergy doctor tomorrow. I just can't take it anymore. Being sleepy because of allergies and because of medicine side effects does not combine with being a student. My eyes are goopy and itchy and we're flying through toilet paper because I still refuse to buy kleenex. Sometimes in the morning I feel like I can smell the pollen . . .

Hillary backed out. That's good. But now she's backing Obama. That bugs me. I was already for Obama, but with Hillary behind him? Eeeew. He'd better not pick her as a VP.

Also, the first big football game is going on between Poland and Germany. I probably wouldn't have noticed (watching isn't my thing as much as playing, especially not on Sunday), but every now and then a huge cheer or yelling or singing comes from seemingly the whole city. In one of my classes, we talked about how national pride is kind of taboo in Germany because of their history, so football is their outlet. It is the one place where people can don flags and yell "Germany" at the top of their lungs. Fortunately for me, as an American who loves Germany, I can have that national pride without being a barbarian. I tell people all the time that I love Germany.

  1. I don't really like seeing Hillary eying up the VP spot either, but if that's what it takes to win McCain in the general election then so be it :)

Love Obama! Really hope he wins... Too bad I can't vote :-p
