I saw a piece on NPR about what makes us live longer. I thought it would be family, which I've heard before, but the guy said it was education. For every year spent in school, life is extended for fifteen months.
That makes me think of the comedian on the cruise last June who said, "My doctor told me that if I'd stop eating donuts I'd live ten years longer, and I said, 'You mean I'd have to live all that time plus ten years without donuts?' Smokers love that joke. 'COUGH COUGH COUGH!"
Same goes with jogging, said my dad.
