I watched a robin hop around on our front lawn today. Why do they take three or four bobbing steps and then pause?
maybe they only have a 3 second memory, so every 3 seconds they have to pause to figure out what they were doing

P.S. Maybe when James becomes a bird scientist, he can write an article explaining the phenomenon.
