Have you ever heard of the Möbius Band? (It rang some deeply-buried bell within me.) Today in search of astronomical groups in Leipzig online (they must have all fled the clouds for somewhere more clear), I discovered yet another famous Leipziger, August Möbius. He was a mathematician who discovered the Möbius Band. Not only did he study at the same university I'm at, he helped found the Leipzig Observatory (which I cannot find), and he was the son of a dance teacher. Click here for more info.
Enjoy the Geminids. No chance here.
