Cathedral of the Madeleine

I emailed the lady who put together "Pipes, Pedals, and Pizza," which Heidi and I attended several weeks ago. She was nice enough to send me some pics, and they just happen to be of my favorite of the three organs, and the coolest one I've ever played. I especially enjoyed pulling out the "Bombarde" stops and having the teacher say, "Now, those are the ones with the really BIG sound!" and me saying, "Yes, I know" while smiling sweetly, before blasting "Press Forward, Saints" and other such exciting hymns which echoed through the acoustically-tuned cathedral . . .
