That seems like a novel approach. I should try that some time! ;)

In general I am trying to be good lately about not buying new clothes that are cute but restrictive in movement, and also getting rid of a lot of my wardrobe that's in that category. Stretchy dresses are awesome, because it looks like you put effort in, but really it's not that different from pajamas. I forgot you have foot issues :( but you might be able to find short boots that don't cost too much and will be easy to walk/bike in.

That's very self-aware of you to be able to diagnose your initial reaction as jealousy/superiority. I get that as my initial reaction to lots of things too, and I don't know how much of it is shame vs some mixture of fear and ego. You're right though, it's better to be able to get past that, you'll be able to improve more.KWuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04969442660664176005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31849511.post-76877465239555705832014-10-26T14:44:49.425-07:002014-10-26T14:44:49.425-07:00KWu: as far as the chocolate chip cookies go, I ba...KWu: as far as the chocolate chip cookies go, I bake all of them and then put them in Tupperware or in a Ziploc bag and freeze to eat later. Strangely enough, if you dunk them in milk, they don't really need to be heated up later. The milk thaws them enough, though if you really want the warm cookie taste, you could probably microwave one for a few seconds.

I like the dressy biking idea. Now I have to try and find some good boots that don't hurt my weird feet and don't cost a zillion.

I actually changed my response to Zuckerberg. At first I was feeling a mixture of jealousy of his fluency and arrogance that my tones are better, but then I realized that I really just need to go for it like he does. Shame often keeps me from doing things that could be awesome and I have to get past that somehow!Michelle Glauserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01646213573761736892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31849511.post-64965147123861949042014-10-26T14:39:23.568-07:002014-10-26T14:39:23.568-07:001. Everyone at work was so into it, I thought I was really missing something when I felt mostly just like, “eh, ok.”
2. Chocolate chip cookies in the freezer: tell me more. Do you freeze them as dough and cut off slice in a log? Or are they already cooked in and in a ziplock bag and then you just heat them up again later, in the microwave or one like a toaster oven?
3. Key to being dressy while biking: nicer knit dresses and leggings, with boots (short or tall)
4. Zuckerberg’s tones were pretty much the only thing I wanted to listen for in watching that video and I was not particularly impressed either. Good point though on just going for it anyway.KWuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04969442660664176005noreply@blogger.com
