Neti Pot (Thanks, Tanya!)

When I had my cold/hardcore sinus infection/whatever it was two weeks ago, Tanya suggested something she'd seen on Oprah. I'd never heard of it, so I checked it out on YouTube (basically, it involves pouring salt water through your sinuses):

I know it looks and sounds crazy, but I tried it and it totally helped. For about an hour, I could breathe clearly. Maybe the fact that it's only an hour is not great because you still can't sleep for very long, but I still found it great for the day hours when I was really suffering. Thanks Tanya!

  3. Hey you used it! I'm so glad that there is something to give you relief. I've known about it for a few years now but have never had the chance to use it. I hope I haven't jinxed myself in saying that. Glad to be of service. ;)

  4. I'm a fan, too. Actually, there's research that shows a good sinus cleansing is more effective than any decongestant on the market.

My word veri is "brasigh" as in the sound you make when you take off one that is too tight.

  5. I don't know as I've ever made that sound, but it sounds satisfying. :)
